Most DMV caterers make you fill out a form to learn what anything costs. Here is the range up front, so you know whether to keep reading.
Ranges are per guest before service charge and tax. Service charge covers staffing, transport and setup. Sales tax differs by jurisdiction — 10% on prepared food in the District, 6% in Maryland, and state plus local meals tax in Virginia — so an identical menu quotes differently across the river. Every quote itemises all three.
Pulled from the last two years of the calendar — not a stock list.
Send your date, headcount and venue. You get a written response within 24 hours, including whether the date is open.
A menu built around your guests and an itemised quote — food, staffing, rentals, service charge and the correct jurisdiction's tax.
Tastings available for full-service events. A deposit holds the date; the balance is due the week of.
The team arrives ahead of schedule, sets, serves, replenishes and breaks down. You host. We handle the kitchen.
Paste three real reviews here — word for word, with first name, event type and month. Do not write these yourself.
Best fit: a wedding or milestone birthday review that mentions the food specifically.
Best fit: a corporate or brunch client who mentions timeliness and staff.
Best fit: an Iftar, Eid or church event review that mentions halal or headcount.
Saturdays in May, June, October and December book first. The more you tell us now, the faster the quote comes back.
Weddings: nine to twelve months. Corporate events: two to six months. Graduation parties: two to four months, and May and June fill early. Private celebrations: one to three months. December holiday parties should be locked by September. If your date is closer than that, ask anyway — cancellations happen.
Yes. Halal-sourced proteins are available across the whole menu, and Eden West runs dedicated Ramadan service — nightly Iftar drop-off packages through full Eid al-Fitr buffets. Tell us at inquiry so the sourcing is set from the start.
The District, all of Montgomery, Prince George's, Howard and Anne Arundel counties, and Northern Virginia through Loudoun. Travel catering beyond the DMV is quoted case by case — destination events are part of the business, not an exception to it.
Staffed buffets run one attendant per twenty guests. Plated service runs one server per fifteen. Bartenders are separate. Every full-service event has a captain on site who owns the timeline so the host does not have to.
Eden West is licensed and insured and carries a certificate of insurance for venues that require one — standard at mansion and county venues across Prince George's and Montgomery. Send the venue name at inquiry and we will confirm their outside-catering policy for you.
Service charge, sales tax, and any rentals beyond what the package lists — specialty linens, china upgrades, bars. Delivery beyond thirty miles is billed separately. Every quote itemises all of it; there is no line you find out about later.
